“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem;
May they prosper who love you.
May peace be within your walls,
And prosperity within your palaces.”
Psa 122:6–7

This verse is a fitting reminder for us in light of the recent attacks in Jerusalem. Let’s remember to pray for Jerusalem and the people of Israel. The world continues to move, as the prophets have foreseen, into a united front against the Jewish people. What a national shame and disgrace that, in spite of widespread support from the American people, our President and his administration continue to speak in terms of moral equivalence between the nation of Israel and the terrorists who attack her!

Please pray for these upcoming events:

  • Texas Conference, November 28–30. Pray for Gene as he teaches and for Cross and Spurs Bible Church as they host the event.
  • Pakistan Conference, November 27–30. Pray for PFJ as he teaches and for the safety and edification of all who attend.
  • Regional Youth Conference in Zimbabwe, December 12–15. Youth will be attending from Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique. Pray for Ken Mawire and others who will be teaching and hosting and for the students attending.
  • GTM Fellowship of Village Pastors, India, December 8. Pray for PJF and his family as they host village pastors for a day of teaching and refreshment. Under the new government in India, persecution of Christians is increasing and their freedom is being restrained. They are trying to close down the printing of Bibles in India. Please pray against this.
  • Christmas programs going on in India, Pakistan, Asia, and Peru during the holiday season. This is a time when many people we work with do village visitation and distribute gifts to orphans and widows as well as evangelism programs.
  • Asia Ministry, January 4–18, 2015. Pray for Gene and Nan as they travel and teach in several locations. Pray for the pastors and women who will be attending. Pray for RJ as he translates.
  • Ese Bible School, Papua New Guinea. The students will be back for their next course in January. Pray for Mark as he travels and teaches, for Pastor Michael and Virginia as they head up the school, and for the students in attendance.

Current Projects

  • Please pray for provision for BTBM to help complete a church building in Lusaka, Zambia so the ministry we work with there can hold worship services and conferences.
  • When we go to Myanmar in January, they have requested that we help them purchase Bibles for distribution in both China and Myanmar. Please pray for that provision.
  • In Chulucanas, Peru, a church building has become available. If purchased, it could then be used as a permanent location for church services and seminary classes. Please pray that we would know God’s will on how to proceed with this.
  • Pray for the young people who are working together to get the “We R Unchained” project off the ground.

As always, pray for our co-workers around the world

As we celebrate Thanksgiving this week, we are very mindful of the wonderful grace of Jesus that blesses our souls each and every day.

Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
Who pardons all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Psa 103:1–5

And we thank Him for the wonderful team of believers who pray faithfully with us. May you and your family be filled with His lovingkindness, satisfaction, and strength, and live for His glory!
