Greetings, fellow saints!

Gene and Nan called from the middle of the Papua New Guinea jungle via satellite phone and wanted to give a quick report, as well as convey a request for prayer support.

They arrived safely to a tremendous welcome from the Numba village. The path was decorated with many different plants from the jungle accompanied by a chorus of singing villagers!

Gene finished teaching the book of Romans to the graduate students of the ESE Bible Institute while Logan Darnell taught Bible Doctrine Survey to the undergrads.

They are requesting immediate prayer for Logan as he starts a trek into one of the remote villages, returning on Sunday evening.

Gene and Nan leave tomorrow morning (1/23) on a teaching trek through the jungle to four different villages. They are asking for travel safety and blessing on the teaching of the Word.

Gene will teach the following subjects: 1st village: "The Doctrine and Benefit of the Rapture;" 2nd village: "Satan’s Methods of Attack;" 3rd village: "The Stewardship of Paul and Peter;" 4th village: OPEN for questions.

Nan will teach the children and the women about Sunday School (methods, etc.)

Please also pray for the health of the students. There have been several different illnesses in the village.

Thanks for joining together in prayer! "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16

In His matchless grace and love,
Gene via BTBM
